Peugeot 406 airbag question?

    Hi,

    Have a 97 Peugeot 406 1.9td, sometimes when I turn the ignition or start the engine I hear this whiney noise coming for the passengers airbag area.

    Anyone any ideas?

    Is the airbag light been displayed..?
    Can't think of anything that would cause this noise...:confused:
    There are also a few relays in behind the pass airbag which may also cause
    strange noises....maybe remove the glove compartment door and see if
    you can pip point the noise.

    The airbag light comes on when I start the ignition but then goes off as normal.

    I'll try removing the glove compartment for a look, Thanks.

    Anyone else have this problem in their 406?
