    I'm kind of disappointed that scholesy signed a new contract. Dispite the fact that he has been a fantastic player and servant to the club, i don't think he is good enough anymore. I hope we still strengthen the midfield department in the Summer. Hope he proves me wrong and has a stormer next season though!

    no, i think it is quite likely that they would like to sign him.

    Hopefully United don't have to sell.

    1. I don't think Rooney would try to force the move (likes living close to his family, just had a kid)
    2. Fergie would not want to sell
    3. Fergie would, imo, quit if the Glazers tried to force the sale on him.
    4. I think the Glazers would want to avoid the negitive commercial PR (not just fan reaction but actual public image of the club in the business world) of selling their best player for no footballing reason.

    I agree with points 1-3.

    Point 4 I'm so sure about. £90m is a hell of a lot of money. I'd imagine all united fans are fed up Real Madid during transfer windows.
