Another man was left fighting for life last September after receiving a massive electric shock in an apparent break-in at a disused food factory in Elmswell, Suffolk. The man, also in his twenties, suffered horrific burns after apparently tampering with high voltage electrical equipment at the factory.

Ouch. I'd say that hertz a lot.

Well he wont do it again. Could he be one of our ethnic boyos? They're well known for that kind of activity.

Its the amps that will kill ya.

Has anyone seen the video of the indian guy on top of the train that touches the electric cable? It shows how quickly that much power can screw you up.

He'll have some explaining to do at the pearly gates.

"so tell me sir, have you recently violated any of the 10 commandments?"

Eh... relationship between hertz and electricity?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

A mistake that's made with shocking frequency.

The frequency of electrical systems varies by country; most electric power is generated at either 50 or 60 Hertz. Surely a science nerd like yourself knew that?

Back in the late 80's I worked at a power station. We arrived at work one morning, to find emergency services trying to figure out how to remove another (theiving bastard) individual who had cooked onto one of the transformers(?).

Some people aren't smart enough to be walking upright.

It's like the old saying ' the kid who swallows the most marbles doesn't get to grow up to have kids of his own'.

A story that will transform us all....if we have the capacitance to understand it.

Whats even funnier is the value of the copper would have been worthless for the amount of damage.

I think you ought to leave and come back with a different username.

I think he got off lightly, would have preferred him to be charged for it.
