reading on Sherdog, which is full of excellent players, none of them have unlocked Sitrep Pro, which makes peoples footsteps louder. You need to destroy 120 enemy equipment, basically only claymores. Does anyone here have Pro and if so, is it worth using Sitrep for that long to get it?

Anyone who uses Sit Rep Pro is a n00b.

Lawl, be leet and use the ACR liek the proz.

    Or not.

    Anyway, for shíts and giggles I'm primarily using, at the moment;

Tar 21 - With Silencer and Holo
G18 - Silencer and Akimbo - for fcukin mo'fcukers up pimp style, sneakily

    Bling Pro
Cold Blooded (About 7 kills off Cold Blooded Pro ><)
    Ninja Pro.

Not the best by any means, but it increases survivability when playing with people who are pretty good. Offers good scope for defensive play as well as assaulting on your own from a different direction.

Heard the M16's a good gun for a similar role too.

The Scar-H is unlocked early. On that basis, yes, it's a nooby gun.

However, it's quite accurate and bloody powerful, making it pretty damn popular with everyone.

If your going by how guns are unlocked then at 1 stage or another all the guns are noob guns.i have finished the scar and the acr does that mean im still a noob?

That's why it's so popular with noobs:)

    Other signs of a noob

    Scar H - Grenade Launcher
    Thumper

    Marathon
    Lightweight
    Commando

Also, noobs usually have red dot on their gun, unless they have GL attatched

Yup, I only pick guns that make me shoot inaccurately and have effect of a gentle breeze in stopping power on my enemies, makes me an elite player.

    Tavor (Tar-21) w/ Sliencer
    M93R w/ FMJ

    Semtex
    Stun

    Scavenger Pro
    Stopping Power Pro
    Ninja Pro

    or

    Intervention w/ FMJ
    Spas-12 w/ Grip

    Claymore
    Flash

    Sleight of Hand Pro
    Stopping Power Pro
    Ninja Pro

    I use:
Primary: RPD with grip and FMJ
    Secondary: Javelin

    Perk 1: Bling
    Perk 2: Stopping Power
    Perk 3: Ninja

Not the fastest, but I seem to get a lot of kills with it. Must try a assault rifle with extended mags and scavanger, the lack of bullets made me change to the RPD

do you prefer the Flashbang or Stun Grenade? i was wondering was there a big difference. I usually use the flashbang myself but that's only because I hate when I get flashed by one :D is the stun grenade usually succesful for you?

Personally I find that only n00bs use flashbangs since they're unlocked at level 1.

I prefer stun grenades. They slow players down.

Cool your jets. If you think someone's trolling report them. If you don't like their opinion argue it coherently, don't take swipes at their maturity.

Breadmonkey, keep trolling other users and you'll find your posting privileges removed for a while to refocus your mind a little. You know better than that :)

Everyone else, for the second time, keep it civil...I don't want to lock this thread...really :(

    what?

You basically said only noobs use the Scar because its powerful, so what if it is? should people only use weak weapons as they progress? Did you only use your handgun after reaching a certain level? its not like its got unlimited ammo and damage, for every gun theres a counter weapon in the game

    Favourite AR/SMG class:
    TAR/UMP with silencer
    Spas with silencer

    Scav pro/OMA pro
    Cold blooded pro
    Ninja pro/Sit rep

    Claymore
    Flash.

    Fav sniper:
Barrett (but playing with Intervention this time around) with thermal
    PP2000 with extended mags

    Scav pro
    Stopping power pro
    Ninja pro/sit rep

    Claymore
    Flash.

Prefer flash grenades to stun but stun are much quicker to throw if in a tight spot so it depends on how you play - assaulting rooms = flash, saving your ass in a tight spot = stun.

Personally, I'm a big fan of accuracy and power as well. Throwing it out there. :p

This whole SCAR = Noob Gun is daft.

Lets go through some of the reasons given.

    1. Unlocked early in the game.
Level 8 unlock. But the Barrett and Intervention are unlocked earlier. Never heard snipers called noobs before. And what about a guy who's prestiged 5 times and uses it on the next lap around. Is that still noobish? The argument doesn't make sense at all.

    2. Powerful and Accurate.
What? So any gun that is powerful and accurate is noobish? Again snipers? What about the Famas/M16/M14/Vector/Raffica etc etc. At this rate, the only non-noob gun in the game would be the F2000?

Personally, anyone that imposes self-create rules on a game is a scrub. All the guns are legit, so why restrict yourself at all? Find the gun you like and works for you, and just use it. I use the TAR or ACR mostly, because I don't like the small clip size of the SCAR. I'm sure the ACR will be called noobish as well. I presume that is primarily because of it's low recoil, but when you factor in it's low damage it's benefits decrease. Plus by the rational here, it's unlocked quite late, so mustn't be noobish for that reason also.

fal usually only used by people with modded controllers
    m16 over powered
    acr nooby
f2000 fires too many bullets quickly
    ak-47 nooby

    mp5 over powered
    ump overpowered
    vector nooby
    p90 nooby

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,692 ✭✭✭shawpower

You forgot that the FAMAS and ACR are too accurate. I mean it's nothing to do with the guy aiming it at all. :)
