Whats your standard class setup on MW2?

    At the moment I have

    Scar w/ Acog
    Stinger

    Scavenger pro
    cold blooded
    Ninja pro.

Scar with acog is good med to long range but not great close in. cold blooded/stinger is great for taking out air support....

    Scar-H
    extended mags
    AA12
    extended mags

    Scavenger
    Stopping power/lightweight
    Ninja

I'd get ride of that acog sight

What's the point in using extended mags with scavenger?

extended mags doesnt give you more bullets , it gives you a larger clip/you don't have to reload as much, which is the only thing the Scar-h needs

I think its 120 bullets rather than 40 ( Im probably wrong though )

    AK74 w/ extended mags
    Spas w/ extended mags

    Scvanger Pro/Sleight of Hand Pro
    Stopping Power Pro

    already done here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055780991

One thing I always wondered is why didnt they incorporate the killstreaks in with the classes, i.e. select different killstreaks for your sniper class, for your witch class, for your campin-lika-moda-fuka class etc

    Famas w/ red dot sight
    Magnum w/ tactical knife
    Claymore
    Stun Grenade
    Marathon Pro
    Stopping Power Pro
    Ninja Pro

find that does me best on most maps, have the same setup but with Tar-21 w/ silencer for smaller map like rust and favela

Heres an idea .........get rid of the acog and put a silencer on the gun . The whole point of cold blooded is not showing up on the uav(not getting killed my enemy air support too) , everytime you shoot your gun youre doing the opposite ;)

I was wondering just that actually, does cold blooded overwrite the gun fire red dot? or is it just uav/air support stuff? silencers are good for smaller maps as they reduce the distance of fire, wont be putting one on me Famas though, god I love that thing :)

A handy one to use that I've seen WoR using is

    riot shield
    handgun w/ tactical knife
    c4
    stun grenade
    scavenger
    danger close
and i think it was ninja

he got a nuke using that setup on a youtube video I saw, interesting to watch

When you fire an unsilenced weapon you show up on their UAV , cold blooded don't keep you off it :(

I would keep that class more for shooting their stuff down . Like use another class ...........then if your killed quickly change into that and away you go ;)

Ha yeah he is a bit, bit of hero worship for himself going on.

As for shooting stuff down, you wouldnt believe the amount of people who dont know you can shoot down a UAV or radar jammer, I did it a bunch of times recently and my teammates were asking how, errr. just point and shoot?

I think its 120 bullets rather than 40 ( Im probably wrong though )

Extended mags on the ScarH is important due to it's small clip size. Scavenger is even more important imho.

The Scar starts with just 60 bullets, with clip size of 20 bullets. This means you reload more frequently. Extended mags gives the Scar a clip size of 30 bullets. It's max ammo is 120 bullets.

All other automatic Assault Rifles's start with 90 bullets, have clip size of 30 and can carry 180 bullets max. Extended mags on those raises the clip size to 45.

The FAL has the same capacity as the SCAR.

Hence the need with the Scar for Scavenger primarily so you don't run out of ammo, but also Extended Mags so you don't need to reload as often in a gunfight.

    I swap between two normally.

    Small-Med maps:
    TAR 21 - Silencer
    AA12 - Extended Mags
    Claymore
    Stun
    Scavenger/Sleight of Hand
    Hardline
    Ninja

    Large maps:
    ACR/Famas - Silencer
    AA12 - Extended Mags
    Semtex
    Flash
    Scavenger/Sleight of Hand
    Stopping Power
    Ninja

    All perks are Pro.

My thinking behind Scavenger v Sleight of Hand is:

If I'm using a burst fire weapon, I go with Sleight of Hand, because you don't waste ammo as quickly with these guns. Less spraying etc. So you don't run out as quickly.

If I'm using the TAR in a high quality lobby, I go with Sleight of hand. Reason being that a high quality lobby makes it more important to get the first shot off, hence the SOH perk. Quicker to aim down sights, so theory is quicker to kill. Plus in those lobbies, you are more likely to die before running out of bullets. :)

If I'm using the Tar in a poor lobby, I use Scavenger, as you need to keep bullets as you aren't dying as much,

If I'm using any automatic rifle (usually only the ACR really), I'll go with Scavenger usually, as you need to replenish more often due to spraying of auto fire.

Not sure about your logic here Shaw? On burst fire a decent reload straegy should suffice, no need for SOH for quick reload. I take your point on the quick aim angle but I reckon that can be achieved just by good play, not that you;re not a good player you understand. You could get more value out of bling pro for example, i find the auld noob toob invaluable and I notice a lot of others using it in the same manner (and for jaysus sake dont let this turn into a toob or not 2 toob debate). Or even FMJ or rapid fire would ensure you hit the mark with more bang for yer buck. So you might be slower up but you do more damage etc?

I never bothered with scavenger or ext mags, I'll pick up some dead cnuts weapon as soon as he hits the ground if im running low, i rarely get left empty handed although when it does happen its a right cnut! I killed a boyo recently with, as far as i can tell, a smoke grenade to the chops.........honestly thats all i had to hand, chucked it at him and got the kill points, go figure?

Sorry. I meant Sleight of Hand Pro. Not worried about the reload time at all. It's just the quicker Aim is what matters. So if you spot an enemy in the distance, you can aim and fire as quick as possible.

I hear what you say about Bling, but I rarely use other attachments other than Silencer.

FMJ doesn't affect damage at all, so rarely bother with it. But the ability to shoot through stuff would make it handy I guess. :)

meh, it aint that great, i use it for snipers only and with that you need to be sure or lucky that you're getting the headshot otherwise they just p1ss off to another part of the map unless they is idiots in which case they deserve high powered explosive ordinance in the face.............harsh but fair.

Slight edit - On reflection, I notice a) you use silencer b) you like SOH pro for quick aim, so would you say you get mostly headshots then? otherwise, now bear with me here, for a 1-on-1 you draw quicker and release a few shots, albeit weaker shots coz of silencer, opponent draws slower but has more powerfull shots thus negating your quick draw, so I deduce you must be getting predominantly headshots, or else you wouldnt keep that loadout, you follow?

So I surmize, you could actually be even better than you realise but with a different loadout.

FYI - im bored sh1tless, so ignore at yer leisure!

reading on Sherdog, which is full of excellent players, none of them have unlocked Sitrep Pro, which makes peoples footsteps louder. You need to destroy 120 enemy equipment, basically only claymores. Does anyone here have Pro and if so, is it worth using Sitrep for that long to get it?

    i only play hardcore so:

Fal with holographic (holographic Adds +5 damage only to the fal and fires straight unlike the red dot that fires slightly to the right.) Thats 1 shot and 2 at infinite distance

M1014 with grip. This gun is unstoppable up close.

slight of hand pro -faster reload and faster aiming down the sight.
light weight pro-faster sprint and quicker aim after sprinting
Ninja pro-Invisible to heartbeat sensors and Allows you to move silently.

With this set up you basically have a sniper/assault gun and cqb.

Try it you wont be disappointed.

Lawl, be leet and use the ACR liek the proz.

    Or not.

    Anyway, for shíts and giggles I'm primarily using, at the moment;

Tar 21 - With Silencer and Holo
G18 - Silencer and Akimbo - for fcukin mo'fcukers up pimp style, sneakily

    Bling Pro
Cold Blooded (About 7 kills off Cold Blooded Pro ><)
    Ninja Pro.

Not the best by any means, but it increases survivability when playing with people who are pretty good. Offers good scope for defensive play as well as assaulting on your own from a different direction.

Heard the M16's a good gun for a similar role too.

The Scar-H is unlocked early. On that basis, yes, it's a nooby gun.

However, it's quite accurate and bloody powerful, making it pretty damn popular with everyone.

If your going by how guns are unlocked then at 1 stage or another all the guns are noob guns.i have finished the scar and the acr does that mean im still a noob?

That's why it's so popular with noobs:)

    Other signs of a noob

    Scar H - Grenade Launcher
    Thumper

    Marathon
    Lightweight
    Commando

Also, noobs usually have red dot on their gun, unless they have GL attatched

    I use:
Primary: RPD with grip and FMJ
    Secondary: Javelin

    Perk 1: Bling
    Perk 2: Stopping Power
    Perk 3: Ninja

Not the fastest, but I seem to get a lot of kills with it. Must try a assault rifle with extended mags and scavanger, the lack of bullets made me change to the RPD

do you prefer the Flashbang or Stun Grenade? i was wondering was there a big difference. I usually use the flashbang myself but that's only because I hate when I get flashed by one :D is the stun grenade usually succesful for you?

I prefer stun grenades. They slow players down.
