A little help locating a church...

Hey,

I have a wedding this saturday in the garrison church in Renmore but have no idea where it is in Renmore. (Not fimiliar with the area)

Would someone be so kind as to point me in the right direction, perhaps locate it on a Google map.

It would be so much appreciated.

As far as i know it's the church in the Army barracks - which is here

Turn into Renmore at Duggan's and head straight until you can't drive anymore. It's on your right 40 yards before the barracks gates.

if coming from oranmore turn left at Galvia Private hospital and stop when you reach the Barracks beside the rail track

Just to check I've understood correctly: Is it the blue marker on this map?

While we're in the neighbourhood, what's the big building with the red marker? I'd always thought it was part of the barracks, but looking at the aerial view makes me wonder.

The blue marker is the church, the red marker is offices of the Department of Defence.

The public road apparently stops (in a legal sense) at the cross or Renmore Rd, Lakeshore Drive and Dun na Mara Drive. I've been told to move a car I parked there once, but if its an Army guy (or some officer's daughter ?) getting married in the church maybe they'll be in a better mood.

PopeBuckfast is correct, they're the Department of Defence (Finance Section) offices. No connection to the barracks. They're adminstrative offices i.e. civil service.

And the road thing is correct. From the junction of Lakeshore, Renmore Road and heading towards Dun na Mara onward towards the barracks is army property but on wedding days, they don't move you. Park away, tis grand.
