Advice on replacing the PCB (circuit board) on a electric hob

Hey Folks,

I have a Belling CTC465 which started to malfunction recently - appears to be a PCB failure, so I rang up Dimpco (http://www.dimpco.ie/) and got a new PCB (cost 140 euro - not too bad).

I'm now trying to install it, and I notice that the new PCB isn't exactly the same as the old PCB in the hob - but it seems that this new PCB has superceded the original one.

My only issue is that the pins that connect to the power and hob rings are in slightly different positions on the new PCB. Previously the PINs were at positions marked J4, J5, J6, J7, then J12, J13, J14, J15, then J18, J19 (total 10 pins for the 5 rings). On the new PCB, the PINs are at positions marked J4 - J13 (still 10 pins!) with J14-J19 left blank.

Before I connect this up, I thought I would check with the wise folk here if it's okay to connect them in the relative same order, but obviously different positions?
