5 Day Roadtrip from Wellington

Hi all, Does anyone have any suggestions for a 5 day car trip from Wellington (north island only, saving the South for another time). Pretty much the only place in the North Island I've been has been up to do the Tongariro Crossing so anyone with ideas'd be great! Thanks guys.

Anything in particular planned?

Try this one-

Wellington-Napier-Gisborne-round the East Cape-Whakatane-Rotorua
then from Rotorua back along SH38 to Waikaremoana, Wairoa and Napier
and back to Wellington.

East Cape is where it's at!
