In the weekender - wednesday 31st March - he was sure today's Irish national would be amuddy affair slugged out by dour stayers on lower weights and named three contenders (which isnt bad given the declaration/weather/other events - apparently somewhere called 'THE GRAND' is also having some kind of big race over a distance and some fences): Hangover, Alpha Ridge and Telenor.

I know it's late but I couldnt be fecked.

He also railed against that desert fiasco in Dubai as a meaningless jolly for hack journalists.

i've invested in his guineas picks...pollenator and awzaan simply
because anything can win the guineas and it's a nightmare
    race for me.
Thanks for the pricewise extra info links pointbreak.
It's a real eye opener for the likes of myself

Not really. Pricewise is in the paper on Saturday and Sunday and when there is a big race or a big meeting during the week. This week it will be Thursday for the start of the Grand National meeting at Aintree.

PP are paying 4 places in the 3.45 and Boyles have money back if your horse is second beaten by the favourite in the 4.20!

No luck with PW first two of the day... he tips two in the next. Might go for a small bet on the larger of the two!!

I think Tom is taking after Mel C these days! Probably won`t have another winner for weeks now, not like the old days when he would have two or three winners on a week end!! ;)

I'd much prefer it if the likes of TS and HT avoided these big jumps races, there is value elsewhere with much greater chance of picking a winner in my book.

That might sound foolish tomorrow.... hopefully! :)

i feel the same way, it seems like they are forced into it rather then making their own choices.

Well, the grand national tips didn't work out, but he Tom had a nice winner for pricewise extra in the 3.00 at Chepstow, Gunship at 7/1, that's what I got him at anyway. April is going well for pricewise extra.
If anyone is not a racing post member and wants to get the Pricewise Extra tips, here's the phone number to call, 1516303477. Call it at 12 and you'll get the tips, Tom Segal will be on the line telling you the tips at the weekends.

See! :) They always get sucked into the big occasions. Loads of jumps tomorrow including Limerick so hopefully a good Sunday can be had.

Every tipster wants to tip the winner of the Grand National while us punters only want them to tip winners.
I just posted Toms stats .... 10 losers at Liverpool and 15 losers since a winner in the column.
http://pricewiseextra.info/stat-of-the-day/ but he has given a few winners in PWE
