What would you do if you won the lotto

We've all thought about it...

I'd probably book a flight with virgin galactic to fly just afloat the earths atmosphere.. Oh yeah.. Then do all the boring buy a house, a car, prolly set up a business of some description..

Dunno. I have all the boring stuff already. I guess a bigger house and a nicer car then travel. I'd mainly look after my family and friends with it. It really depends on how much you win.

Depends on how much i won.
But i'd pay off all my debts,buy a house and new car,and go away somewhere for a while, if i had won a fair bit i'd pay off all my family's mortgages and open up trust funds for my nephews and nieces.

Depends on how much money you get but say
160 million would be nice:p
If I won that much I would buy a small island and have a session for a month invite everyone I know pay for it all have the crack then.
Buy a massive house maybe 50 cars and bank the rest of it so I can live on the interest:D(Just maybe not an Irish bank unless they buy me the huge house)

I don't need any more money, I'm not greedy. As long as I've got my health, and my millions of dollars and my gold house and my rocket car, I don't need anything else.

Im replying to this because I have had an idea for many years now associated with the notion of winning the lotto... the idea is this,

I would buy a large truck, not a 40 foot trailer, but still large enough... and I would fill it with a supply of military sleeping bags, the all-weather type. Then I would get the truck fitted with a portable catering facility, and also a first aid unit... and I would have a small team that would take this truck out a couple of nights a week around Dublin city centre, and distribute the bedding amongst the homeless, and give them a decent meal... until such a time that at least some of them can get into some sort of homeless shelter, and get their feet back on the ground... Id have to think about what to do with the rest of the money, set up a micro brewery maybe;)

Well it all depends on how much was won. If it was something like the Euromillions I'd look into trying to solve the homeless problem in Dublin. Setup some kind of centre that they can come to but the condition being that they have to contribute to it in some way. Try to make it self sufficent so continuous funding isn't needed or can be kept to a minimum.

If it was the Irish lotto I'm sure a house would be bought here and in Poland. I'd then look at the situation of various family members and friends and see what I could do for them. Buying them houses/cars might not necessarily be the best thing.

Some travelling would be nice, one or two cars and then we'd see. I wouldn't like to be frivolous with the money and it'd be nice to help other people out somehow. I've always fancied the idea of philanthropy.

Depends on how much I won. If It was say a mill I'd buy a modest house, a car and set up a business. Hopefully meaning I'd never have to do a crappy job again/work for an arsehole again.

I would adopt the little boy from russia and may be 2 children with downs syndrome, i would build a big house with large childs play areas. i would probably try and get the american girl doll company over to ireland and open up a couple of stores over here (also build a dino), i would build new playgounds and skate parks in my area. i would refurbish a run down large building and turn it into a homeless hostel, i would get help packs ready for natural disasters (tents blankets, cooking equipment etc).

I would also go to egypt and travel during the school holidays, then i would probably adopt a couple more kids with disabilities. Then i would die broke but happy!
