    Yes, they were sent the wrong way taking 5 or 6 miles off the course. Its not the first time, 2 years ago on the same stage Ciaran Power was sent the wrong way whilst leading solo 2 minutes ahead of the bunch. Harsh to penalise them 50 minutes however, thats at least 30 more than they would have lost I hear.

    the great thing about stages like this is that u get to see the riders a few times rather than a quick 30 second blur.
    where on the stage did the riders in question take the unintentional short cut?

    great place to spend the easter weekend with a few hilly training spins at your doorstep.

    anyone know why there has been a fall off in the english teams coming over?
