    Hi There,

I need to supply a rent book as part of an application i'm making.

Just wondering will a spreadsheet printout suffice or do I need to go and buy a proper rent book?

    Thanks.

Do you mean an application for a property?

You can but rent books for about €2 from stationery shops, certainly Threshold used to produce one. You can fill it in now and have the landlord sign it.

If its a spreadsheet, I imagine anyone accepting it would like to have it on a letterhead or something to give it some authenticity.

    No, it's not.

Ok, I was just hoping to get cracking at it tonight without a rent book.

I don't think authenticity would come into it when you can buy a rent book anywhere for €2.

Would it really matter as long as it's signed by both parties?
