The title was The nicest thing anyone has over done for you NOT what the current title is
I have known my 2 best friends for 10 years both lads. Met in college went through everything together exams, break ups, finishing college, and still going strong. I don't know what I would do without them. The nicest thing they have ever done for me is being my best friends for so long through thick and thin. I hope they will always be there.
Whats the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?
Apologies if this comes across as a silly post in AH's feel free to move it..

    Said yes...:pac:

Eh, it's hard to pin point just one thing, just recently though, a mate of mine took me down to the coast for a drive and chat to clear my head and just let me vent about stuff...was really random but loved it. Oh and my brother made me a cup of tea, he never does that :p

I'm sure I'll think of something proper soon enough. You've really put me on the spot now!

When I was living in US, I rented a very cheap, very old apartment. It had a bed, wardrobe, kitchen basics and a chair when I moved in. My best friend came to visit for a week. I was working all day and when I came home I found that she had decorated the entire place with new curtains, rugs, pictures, and rearranged everything. Even turned the small room I previously called 'the suitcase room' into a getting ready area. I cried. It was so thoughtful.

When I was seriously ill few years back my friends were there for me through tick and thin. Was the fact I could rely on them at anytime.

Made me realise that I had great friends and I was lucky

For me, probably put up with me. Any number of brave souls have endured the pain and grief that I carry around, scattering like confetti. :D

To be honest, the nicest thing anyone can do for me is stand up to me and tell me when I'm wrong. Some people are cunts and watch you go along, all the while oblivious to your error and not even have the decency to bring it to your attention.

Maybe some people don't want to 'rock the boat' but its called being cruel to be kind and it takes a brave person to do it.

Apart from that...anything my maw has done for me....the list is long!

I'm going to do the nicest thing for you OP and point out your grammar mistakes:

"Whats the nicest thing anyone ever done for you?"

    should be

What's the nicest thing anyone ever did for you?

Sorry, I had to do it. You'll thank me in time.

It was a rainy night after a disco, we were all cold and wet, waiting for our taxi. Some girl I was talking to inside came over and asked me for a fag, I didn't have any so I gave her the one I was smoking, only a few pulls on it. So she stood behind me while having it, her legs were cold:P. Just before she went home she gave me a full fag, a hug and a kiss. That took away the pain of the coldness for a minute, 'cos she was teh sxyz.

A friend bought me a painting of Arnie as the Terminator for my birthday, best bday gift and totally unexpected.

It now hangs gloriously above the TV :pac:

The lack of apostrophe in "What's".

It's funny just how clueless you are about what was actually happening.:D

Yeah, when your ill, especially long term, you find out who your real genuine friends are (and unfortunately sometimes family members also).

I was coming out of the Tesco today and it was lashing down sleety snow crap and it was just miserable, I saw this girl in trouble with a flat tyre and she seemed in a real fluster so I asked her did she want a hand and changed to the spare for her. I felt so bad when I saw her and her lil kid in the backseat and suddenly felt duty bound to help!

I don't know of the nicest thing people have done for me but I just prefer to help others.

I did that before, except it went completely pear shaped.
The nuts wouldn't come off the car....things were fecking welded on there or something...

So all I did was look like a bit of a twat...

    A thoughtful twat, nonetheless. ;)

Got a flat tyre in the pissing rain one day when I was terribly tired, hungover and miles away from home. Rang a taxi to bring me to a friend's house, told him about the car and he turned back and changed it for me and wouldn't even take the taxi fare!

Really appreciate random acts of kindness like that!

There have been a few, but this is one I'll always remember. Was in College preparing for a set of extra special optional exams and one of my frienda was having some difficulty with her coursework. She asked me to help her, which I thought would be great... thinking that if I was able to explain a concept to someone, I would know the material really well. Anyway we had a few study sessions and she finished her coursework, and I continued to work for my exams.

I guess she could see I was really stressed out, and one of the days before the exams were due to begin she called over with about 10kg of chocolate sweets coffee and gifts for me. It was completely unexpected

It might seem small to others, but it meant a lot to me at the time.

All my mates did really nice things for me. Outta my mates at home, most of them did trades and I went off to college. They'd come up for the night, we'd get locked etc and they'd leave in the morning followed by a phonecall to inform me where they left a bit of cash after a whip around cos I was always broke and they weren't.
When we went to Ibiza at 18 they all had cameras, I didn't cos I was scraping as usual, bu after we came home they got all the negatives together and gave me a copy of everyones photos.
Got plenty of concert tickets bought for me too.

Such a great bunch of lads, and people who dont know them often think otherwise.
But thats just it, they dont know them.
