speed up clip query

hey there, i have a query. i have an 8 minute clip in imovie 08 that i want to play in 30 seconds. (i guess that is at x16 speed) can you do this in imovie 08? any other suggestions? thank you

No you can't do this in iMovie. Have you tried Premiere Pro? That'll do it easily. Most non-linear editing programs will in fact.

If you're stuck I can do it for you, lemme know

Download a previous version of IMovie - http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/imovieHD6.html
which has the time effects, then export and reimport the clip.
