Greymouth, the most dull and depressing place in New Zealand.

    Lake Havasu City in Arizona.

    Busan, South Korea.

Dublin.... capital city, me arse. More like overpopulated dull zone squeezed into a tiny area!

Santa Cruz. Bunch of liberal douche morons. Hippie town. The bad kind of hippie town.

Surely not Santa Cruz in CA? That place is legendary!

Has anyone mentioned Dublin?? Temple Bar is probably one of the most dullard places in Dublin

Holyhead, especially when you've just missed the ferry. It's like being trapped in a mortuary, only without the excitement.

I know, i was there a good few years ago, how could a place that boasts a rollercoaster be seen as dull? Plus, remember "The Lost Boys", sure how could a town with a huge vampire problem be dull. They are my two objections to it being seen as dull anyway

Definitely not the dullest. Not to mention having a beach, great bars and crazy people

A place that has a man that dresses up as a pink lady could hardly be dull:

Did you miss him?? He used to walk up and down Pacific Ave every day slower than a turtle, with these tiny little baby steps - so funny and so suited to Santa Cruz!

I've been to Toronto twice, and it has a reputation for being boring compared to Montreal or Vancouver. I found that there is a lot going on there, but you have to look for it. When David Cronenberg adapted the J.G. Ballard novel Crash for film, he set it in Toronto, and I think it fit perfectly.

You must have still been asleep after nodding off in Belgium. Next time miss out Belgium and you'll be awake for the other two.

If you are in a city in the US you think is dull, head 45 minutes outside it for true dullness - the suburbs. There are places in the US where the only bar you might be lucky to find is the bar counter at the TGIF in the mall.

But the duller a (non-Irish) place is, the more exotic you become - meaning the easier it should be to pull.

I think the dullest place I've ever been was the hotel room I was isolated in for a week when I sold my body to medical science. Though I had a telly and my computer so even that wasn't that bad.

No wait, I've got it. Dullest place I've ever been: the bar I used to work in.

Left to my own devices anywhere on earth, I can generally entertain myself.

Forced to look busy when there's absolutely nothing to do but polish and clean sh*te for the 20th time: hellishly dull.
