blue screen issue

    I was using my computer last night with no problems at all. Switched it on this evening and windows isn't loading. I end up with a blue screen and the following error message:

    *** STOP 0X0000007E (0XC0000005,0X805D532,0XF7BDB3B8,0XF7BDB0B4)

    Has anyone got any idea what the problem is here, and how do I go about fixing this?

    did you get yours fixed it seems to be after a windows update on the 10 of feb i have the same problem with mine one shop i took it to said need a new hard drive :confused:

    They lied ,all the info is still on your hard drive there is a thread on this in the windows fourm (i had the same prob and had to do a restore )

    I just got this problem fixed recently but it has returned again. Not the blue screen this time, but windows won't load up. Instead, a black screen comes up with various options such as "return to last working configuration" or something like that. Technician who fixed it last time thinks that I may need a new hard drive. Any recommendations on what to do, and, also, any idea how much this would cost?
