Are cinemas open Good Friday

Does anyone know if cinema open Good Friday here ? I am getting different answers from my local cinema I know cinema release dates of 2nd April are for both UK & Ireland and are set months in adavnce so it does not make a difference but just wondering if cinema's open here in Ireland.

Yes they are open and it's the busiest day of the year for cinemas.

Yep they are and as someone said it is very busy that day as pubs are closed.

I think I'm on Ushering that night, can't wait!:rolleyes:
