Fuel pump replacement on audi A4 (B5) 1.8T Quattro

Hi folks, just got a quote from Stealership of approx 600€ to replace a fuel pump on above car. Was thinking along the fuel pump line as the culprit but couldn't justify purchasing and fitting on the off chance that I wrongly diagnosed ( apparrently there are 3 pumps on this variant ! Anyway, changed thre fuel filter ( 40€…

What is your engine code? I have a new genuine Bosch pump for a quattro model that was ordered in error, if it matches your're welcome to it at cost.
