Recommend Photographer in cork

    Hi,

    Can anyone recommend a photographer in cork. I am from Dublin and i am getting married in cork next summer. I have some names but they did not come recommended. I would really like to go with a recommendation over one i got out of a wedding plannner book.

    I don't think it would be any harm to ask in the Photography forum either, under Arts->Photography. The beautiful people posting there might be able to help also.

    Can't recommmend much but I know someone who had Nelius Buckley - excellent but pricey, don't know what your budget is.

    I know of others who got out of town and not well-known photographers who were significantly cheaper.

    A lot of the photographers in the city centre have exhibition shopfronts - a stroll around ould give you an idea of overall style you like.

    Try posting on the Cork forum too :)

    Id recomment Pat McCoole, he has a gallery on his site which you can look at... he is from Tipperary but says he can do jobs all over Munster... not sure how much he charges though...

    A friend of mine had Fiona Fuller in Mallow (022-21981) do her photography for her wedding. She was very happy with the results and it's nice to see female photographers in a male dominated profession.

    most good photographers will travel within ireland if you add about €100 for overnight stay and travel.

    i'd recomend me and my wife as we do weddings though we don't have a site up and running for our wedding stuff yet, just our music photography

    You beat me to it.....Fuller Photography, Mallow. Super, Super work. Just go and have a look in the window on Bridge St. Pure works of art:)
