Bomb Scare in Shannon Town Centre

    I was down there at lunchtime after dropping someone at airport. Place is cordened off by Paddy Wagons etc, well a section anyway. The TC itself is opn for business I believe its one of teh aprtment blocks behind where the device is.

    What has that got to do with this thread ?
    FYI. The large number of northern residents that moved to shannon in the seventies did so for their own personal safety. They were been burned out of their homes and moved to make a better life for their families.
