Any advantage in going to the dealer over going to a garage?

I've got to get the timing belt done on my car. The ford dealer is asking around 450eur. I think I could get it done for a bit less at a garage. So is there any advantage in going to a Ford dealer than going to a garage to get it done? Cheers.

no advantage in goin to the main dealer unless ya like spendin loadsa money
