    Hi,

I've got a 2.5 dsl transit engine that is underpowered. I was wondering if anyone ever head of someone adding a turbo to an engine that didn't originally have one.

All I really know is the transit engine is a non interference one.

If someone could give any pointers/pitfalls that'd be great.

    Thanks

(oh and before some goes "Why are you modifying a transit engine, why no use......, well let' just say I like challenges!)

I 'd imagine it'd be a lot easier just to drop a turbocharged engine in. You'd have to make major changes to the existing engine to make it work with a turbo.
