Some Wrestlemania news
As of this week, the decision still hadn't been made whether John Cena vs. Batista, Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels or Edge vs. Chris Jericho would be the last match at Wrestlemania. The Unified Tag Team Title match is currently scheduled to open the show with Money in the Bank going on second. Vince McMahon vs. Bret Hart would likely go somewhere in the middle of the card. Of course, all of this is subject to change.

    http://www.wrestlingrevealed.com/news/wwe-still-undecided-about-wrestlemania-match-order/
According to Bryan Alvarez, the plan (at least what WWE wants) right now is for Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler to announce Wrestlemania with Todd Grisham, Matt Striker and Josh Matthews doing backstage interviews and such. JR's role on the show is still not confirmed at this point.

I'll be arriving Phoenix next thursday and I'm going to Axxess. I think that will be a good axxess since it will be one of the less crowded ones. My plan is meeting Bret and boo Cena :)

Yes, we will be going to Axxess on thursday... ;) Think if you're looking for clubs/bars, scottsdale is the place to be.

On a side note, I would like to visit the Desert Botanical Gardens and the Zoo on Wednesday or Thursday, maybe Friday morning, so if anyone else planned a visit there, we could share a cab.

Just found this on the roh board:

Hey as someone who lives in the area, don't walk into Metro Center mall unless you're prepared to get into some minor scuffle with a local. If you are prepared, then by all means go ahead. Just warning you. It's been pretty ghettofied over the last 5 or 6 years.

Since I know of at least one guy that's coming over that wants to do some shopping for things, is there a better mall reasonably close? We'll have a vehicle, and I'm willing to head to a different one if that's a better option.

You can go to Paradise Valley mall, or Fashion Square mall in Scottsdale. I'm excited to go to my first shows from this company, and I hope to meet up with all of you guys.

As for post-show party places, we can go down to Old Scottsdale, there's a strip of bars and clubs all on one street that you can hit up and on a Friday night, there's gonna be a bunch of hot chicks.

    Axxess info....Map thing.

    http://www.wwe.com/content/media/pdf/WrestleMania_Axxess_Map.pdf

    Shows where everything is.

1 question it brought up though...for me anyway.

I got a VIP Ticket for Thursday....which gets you 2 front of line for EVERYTHING except autograph stations.

Will this work for Hart Dungeon?!

Anyone else get a bill in the mail from FedEx for their travel package?

I got one today, for just over $10, not much, but still. I was charged duty for the declared value of the package ($25 was the declared value for the leather ticket holder,) and a $10 advancement fee from FedEx.

Email WWE Packages...I don't know about this year's T&C's, but the possibility of paying duties etc was not in their T&C's last year.. Really, they are liable to pick up this cost.

Thanks, I was planning too, but also took a look at this year's T&C's which was updated from last year, and the wording could be either way.

"Once this package has been shipped to the main traveler, the main traveler will be responsible for paying any additional processing fees associated with this shipment; such as, an attempted delivery plus redelivery; as well as, any address change requests or address corrections made directly between the main traveler and the shipment company."

    It should in theory.

Sorry everyone I missed the live chat yesterday, I had intended to join in but got caught up with other stuff yesterday.

Regarding the match order, I still think something will get bumped to being on pre-show-most likely the tag match, though wouldnt Rey v Punk be a good choice for opener?

I dont think Cena v Batista should be the last match, the outcome of this match isnt really in doubt and Cenas already had 2 Wrestlemanias end with him celebrating. Give it to Edge v Jericho or have Michaels lose and have the show end with a massive standing ovation as he walks away like Flair at WM24.

Technically, they have not covered duties in that...its merely covering them from additional shipping costs. Duties would not be considered as additional shipping costs.

    Fingers crossed its called off.

Ive 2 days left at work before heading off and getting money changed over today. Been alternating between watching WM17 and WM24 last few days to get me in the mood, still get goosebumps everytime I watch the planes fly over at the start of 24.

Was at 24 and it was amazing! Went to 20 in the Garden which wasn't as exciting in my opinion...all except when Paul Bearers let out his little shreek for the Takers return..that was pretty cool. I preferred Angle v Eddie to the main event too..Tag match was a waste of space. Seeing Cena FU the big show was sweet too.

Hope you guys get a better mania than last years anyway (obviously bar HBK v Taker)! Enjoy!

Is anyone going to Axxess either Thursday or Friday and then HOF on Saturday? I want to get a WM26 jersey but they will only be in 2X max size at the hotel stands and would like a 3x (they run about a size too small from my experience with the WM24 and 25 jerseys). They will be selling 3X size at Axxess and Wm26 but I'm not going to Axxess and I don't want to walk around Wrestlemania with a bag of merchandise. I will pay cash and throw in an extra 5 bucks for the effort if anyone is interested and can pick it up at axxess for me. Can meet up at the HOF and exchange the cash for the jersey (not sure if they'll be selling the WM26 jersey at the HOF stand either).

also, fyi anyone wanting to goto the Roy Jones fight in Vegas..... bunch of new tickets released for sale. See second row lowers on there in center TV section. About the best public ticket you can get (front row lowers and all floor seats are held back by Mandalay Bay and the promoters).

I wanted to go but already submitted my leave request having me come back April 2nd and I didn't have enough time to request an extension to come back a few days later :(

Also, didn't see anyone else mention this but theres another boxing fight on April 10th @ The Thomas & Mack where Smackdown is. Evander Holyfield Vs. Frans Botha. Still good seats left on UNLVTickets. See 3rd row ringside for only 250 which seems like a bargain for boxing (lower mezanine (not even ringside) in the Roy Jones fight is 750!)

I dunno where i'll be this time next week...certainly on my way lol but all the time zones are confusing! Expedia gives you the local times for landing and taking off so I got the time zone in London, Newark and Phoenix lol. CRAZY! Overall a 17 hour transit time! pretty long! though only 8 hours back from Orlando with Virgin so alllll goood! :D One thing...I HATE FLYING!!! EEEP! haha.

Be nice to finally meet up with you guys! Though...what do we do after mania!! haha! just go back to our normal lives!? comtemplating WM27 depends what I am doing...looking at jobs for Warner Bros next year now so on a good wage there that'd give me more than enough.

Its going to be weird not posting in this thread when its all over. I can't speak for my travelling partner but i'll either be going to the Rumble or Mania next year but it all depends on how college works out(going back to college in Sept).

We are leaving in 5 days!! I just mapquested all the events from the Pointe Hilton to WM,Axxess, and HOF its not too bad a half hour to WM but that's not bad.

We ordered our WM gear last night as well so I hope its there by next Friday when we check in.

Save Travels everyone, who is leaving earlier. :D

This thread wont die, itll just be the Mania 27 one the day after 26 is on:D I prob wont be going back to one until 30 (which surely has to be on in the Garden?) At the mo I'm just not interested enough in the product to warrant spending that kind of money to head back over, it is an amazing experience for those who are going for the first time though, was at 23 and 24 and it was incredible. You will have to pinch yourself at one stage to make sure you're actually there, and when the lights go down, the WWE logo into plays and they start it all you'll be on cloud nine, its a ****ing great feeling to be there live.

This is my first time, and that is how I am acting, its hard trying to be a mommy this past week and I keep singing the I made it song, and watching Raw this past Monday i just can't believe I am going to one, and probably only one.

    :pac:

Will he retire? could contain spoiler

Shawn Michaels has been telling friends as of late he plans on retiring at WrestleMania. His contract is set to expire soon and he has talked about wanting to spend more time with his children as they grow up.

Michaels himself has made noise about retiring in recent years, to the point that WWE actually scripted jokes about it on Raw. After taking time off in 2008, he made noise about deciding not to come back. Like previous times he'd taken time off, WWE would call him back to return and he would. He also said in a radio interview last year that he had told the company his retirement date (which at the time was this year's WrestleMania). On the other hand, he's brought up the idea of wrestling well into his fifties, though only a match or two per year.

Michaels is not advertised for any shows past the night after WrestleMania when Raw emanates from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Hey man, any chance we can keep all these things which could be slightly spoilerific in spoilers? I wanna be completely suprised for the event am trying to avoid any spoilers as possible. Cheers :D

Btw, anyone come across jealous friends? Its so weird! twice today i've had these snooty comments! One from this dude commented on my facebook saying 'I hate you. Bet your seats are crap though' and another one saying that I basically will have screwed up the hotel or flights lol...its just so strange seeing people behave like that :S? Can't people just be happy...
