I didn't like this album, simple as that. It just never clicked with me. Same with Grizzly Bear, I don't know what it is about those two bands, I just never fell in love with them the way some of my friends have.

A few weeks ago a local two-piece started playing that song in a bar I was in. Cue me rushing over, waiting until the song ended and giving them some serious drunken thanks and handshakes.

Been a decent few days for me music-wise. Tuesday afternoon I put on Revolver by The Beatles, before going on a late night music marathon playing The Village Green Preservation Society by the Kinks, Comes A Time by Neil Young and New Morning by Bob Dylan.

Last night I also had a cool conversation with a heavily-inebriated Rolling Stones fan in a Chinese takeaway. He somehow became convinced I was a massive Beatles fan just because I know that Wild Honey Pie is off the White Album (which I don't have, but Pixies covered it

), while he asked for brown sugar along with his chips in a sly reference to the 'Stones.

Eleanor Rigby has been stuck in my head all day. Brilliant song.
