He wasn't drinking it, just pouring it on a cloth and drinking it. It's a joke from last series when he found some in Casey's locker and picked it up saying, "Mind if I get right?"

I'd forgotten about that, but that does sound familiar, thanks. Jeff has got to be the weirdest weirdo in the Buy More :).

    Impressive, most impressive.

This show has so many sly nods and small touches that I'm thinking the Duck Hunt scene isn't a throwaway "Chuck & Morgan friends again" moment. Could it be that Chuck is starting to absorb some of the Intersect knowledge so it become latent without him having to "Flash"?

    Oh and AWESOME! episode btw.

Don't forget he was always uncannily good with tranq guns even before intersect 2.0.

Best episode since the season 2 finale. I've been waiting for ages for the scene when Morgan witnessed Chuck's intersect powers and it didn't disappoint. I don't think there's been a poor episode of Chuck and if anything it just gets better. Love it!!!

NBC should just go ahead and announce a renewal for season 4 already... It's easily the best show in their current line-up by far...

CHUCK IS DETERMINED TO GET HIS GIRL BACK – BRANDON ROUTH (“SUPERMAN RETURNS”) GUEST STARS – Chuck (Zachary Levi) has his pick of the best CIA agents for an undercover operation, but he has only one girl in mind for the job – Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski). Casey (Adam Baldwin), Morgan (Joshua Gomez) and Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) team up to help Chuck win her back. Sarah Lancaster, Scott Krinsky and Vik Sahay also star.
Synopsis for episode 12 was just released by nbc and looks like it will be epic.

19, was originally 13, but got an extension for another 6 eps, so it was writen for 13, so 13-19 will be like a mini series id say, or if they get the go ahead for season 4 can lead into it,

Oh Chuck, how I adore you.

Great episode this week as usual. Poor Casey broke my heart a couple of times throughout. I'm intrigued as to how they'll integrate him back into the team now.

There's alot of Shaw hate on the net, twas a very solid ep. - the team has been split up and it's all gone to hell!, Chuck is now SuperChuck with added pills and powers!

2 season finale-ish episodes in a row, and we're just past midseason!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,906 ✭✭✭J-blk

Fantastic episode again, enjoyed every bit of it but WTF is up with the ratings? I hope it's not on the bubble again... I initially was ready for this to be the last season, but it has been so good (and keeps getting better) that I really hope we get a season 4 at this point.

    Brilliant episode.

Really intrigued as to what the story with Casey is going to be now, surely he won't just be gone out of it.

And Sarah will be back, no way will they have her leave, she's too big a plot point for the writers to be able to return to in relation to Chuck's personal life whenever they need.

Something I though that was pretty funny was at the start where it cuts to outside the building and pops up: "Subterranean CIA Facility", and then a second later a little arrow pops up pointing at the ground.
Only something very small but things like that make Chuck great.

Also really enjoyed Morgans and Awesomes verbal joust as they tried to figure out who knew what.

Thought the bit where Chuck lands Casey in it was brilliant.

yes but intially it was suppose to be 13 episodes, and the producers had a choice either add in 6 more episodes of filler in between what they already had, or, continue with there original 13 and then make an additional 6 for the end of the season,

therefore the last 2 and the next 3 will be for all purposes the end of the season, thats why it feels like where nearing the end of a season,

as for the rating surely there was something on that drew attention away, there were 1 or 2 networks not showing there main shows monday night,

as for the episode, it was class (seriously when isnt it class), i would have liked to see them go through 2 or 3 other levels :D,

somehow i cant see chuck wanting to use that pill to often, he seemed to snap out of it just before he killed that guy, and he didnt seem to pleased with what he nearly done, also it was great watching him take out all those guys, (i wonder how much of it was a stunt double),

i wonder whats up with casey, theres no way there just gonna leave him return to a normal life, honestly how could he, hes hardly gonna work in the buy more for the rest of his life,

deffinate +1 for the direction to the subterrainian CIA base, :D

Ah that makes sense, but there are still 3 to go. If that was episode 13, I'd understand. :)

Apparently the change to Daylight savings time in the US is to blame for the drop in ratings: http://tvbythenumbers.com/2010/03/16/tv-ratings-chuck-vs-daylight-savings-time-drops-big/45105

Hate to pigeon-hole and state a large number of the US nation is clearly unintelligent...

.. but I mean.. come on!

When they calculate the ratings is it just the initial showing that's taken into account or do they count all the repeats that tend to be on at all hours on the digital channels?

There were a couple of weak bits in the latest, otherwise excellent, episode. The whole 15-levels-of security was a stupid plotline and poorly executed (flik-flaks make you immune to bullets?) and the pill either only lasts 30 seconds or is rendered ineffective by a pretty girl's disapproving stare? That seems to contradict the whole idea of it helping soldiers perform in battle.
