Playback on UPC Silver DVR - Certain channels?

    I have notised that when I watch a recorded program from NGC and fast forward over the comercials, the sound takes up to 10 seconds to reappear to then be out of sync.

    By pressing rewind, Play, Pause, Play it comes back staright away.

    Funny enough this is not mentioned anywhere in the user guide :rolleyes:

    All other channels seems to work ok though :confused:

    Happens frequently for me too - either audio disappears or is out of sync. I don't think it's specific to any channels in particular.

    I mainly record stuff off BBC, NGC and Discovery and there is never any problems on any of the BBC's - only the two others :confused:

    It happens on ours too, on many channels. Probably the most annoying 'feature'!

    Jus do a qucik forward back for a second and sound will be synched again. Works for me.

    Guess this is what I more or less said in my first post but seems like your method is "faster" :D

    Also, when pressing Menu and you get the four different options (can't remember which ones comes up) and you press left, you can't go straight back to the first option, but have to press down, left and up :confused:

    I'm getting rid of UPC the second my 12 months contract is up!!!
