eye tv on mac snow leopard - dvb?

    hey gang

    hope ye had a nice weekend.

    i purchaesed an eye tv usb style tv tuner card for my mac and it worked perfectly when i was using tiger os x, and was living in the centre of dusseldorf. - i was picking up 25 digital stations, and the signal was crystal clear.

    now i am living a small bit - about 10 miles from any city, and i have also installed leopard snow, so i upgraded to a new version of eyetv, which was necessary since the installation disc that came with the 2nd hand eyetv tuner card that i bought - only support up to tiger os x!

    since i have just installed it, i am unable to get ANY stations, absolutely nothing.

    so my question is, is this being caused because i live so far from the city, or is it because of leopard or something else?

    I run eyetv with a hybrid tuner and pick up the DTT (DVB-T) no problem. So it may be you being outside of a major population zone.

    You might be able to get a reception map for your area with some good and persistent google searching.
