Weird Phobias

I was thinking about phobias and ones that I would think somewhat relate to me.
I have this weird thing about the number 13, I honestly don't know where the hell it came from. It has somewhat diminished over the last few years but it still makes me somewhat uneasy (I'm quite aware of the fact that there is a 13 in my post count currently).

I also knew a guy who had a fear of bananas. So much so that he wouldn't wish to be in the same room as bananas or have bananas anywhere near him.
Maybe it was the shape of them or something, I'm not really sure.

Anyone else have any weird phobias?

    P.S. I'm not crazy..

    Venus fly traps.

Ever since I saw Little Shop of Horrors as a kid those things freak me out.

I'm scared of heights, but that's not weird.

My Grandad was, so mom tells me, absolutely terrified of buttons (as in, ones on clothes). I find that quite weird.

I'm not sure if that counts as a weird phobia.

That's more laziness than anything else really.

Which as we all know is far more than a phobia, it's a way of life.

He didn't also happen to be terribly homophobic by any chance, did he?

Once meet someone who was terrified of Mushrooms.

What makes me cringe though is the thought of biting a ball of tin foil.

He was fairly homophobic alright, bit of an a$$hole really.

But it was a fruit, don't see how he could be afraid of it.
    They're great on breakfast cereal.

I have a real fear of marmalade/jam/honey on my face but the catch is I love the taste so I have to been super careful with how I spread them on toast.

I have had nightmares about marmalade on my face, does that qualify?

I've a fear of being crushed so I'm somewhat claustrophobic and also I've a fear of dying which I know is inevitable.

The strangest phobia I've heard about is someone being afraid of sunflowers.

I've never understood why tin foil affects so many people like that - even the noise of crumpling it up for some. Weirdos.

I have a bit of a thing about bananas too. I think its from being in school when ppl would bring in bruised bananas that would have gotten a bit mushed in their bag. Oh God the thought of it makes me feel sick.
Another thing that makes me gag is when ppl mash banana on toast or when babies have banana on their hands. Shudder.
Practically all smoothies that you buy have banana in them to thicken them so always check the label! Its not just me thinking this - Innocent Smoothies have started making one with no banana in it. http://www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/things_we_make/smoothies/carton_kiwi_appl_lime/

I'm don't like hens legs and feet. They are like freakin dragons or something. I'm not afraid of the hens just their legs.
I'm afraid of dogs. Not ones I know like my aunties dogs (they are king charles spaniels, to dumb to be scary). I also hate earwigs. They make me wretch something awful.
I'm terrified of being abducted by aliens. My sister told me she watched that film The Fourth Kind and it terrified me. I haven't even watched it.
I've also a fear of spontaniously combusting but who doesn't.
Also I'm terrified of social situations. There, I think thats it.

    Trypophobia.

Don't ever google a pic of a Lotus seed. You have been warned!

Even thinking about touching cotton wool freaks me out, and velvet is horrible to touch too. My friends house has a row of little velvet cushions on the sofa and even knowing they're in contact with my clothes freaks me.

If I touch one by accident it ruins my day.:o
