Two very dodgy posts from a forum member deleted. Peteee as forum mod has details CCed to him for a later decision if necessary but if members could remember that we're not the silly school for libellous remarks that'd be very cool:)

So how many voted in the end?
Earlier today there was over 2,200 votes...what was the final figure?

no worries.... to be brutally honest, its nice to know that the candidates can generate a decent interest in the renewal of the place. Hopefully the victors will be able to turn that into a HUGE turn out next year???

So does the bigger turnout favour the status quo or the revolutionaries? My inclination might be towards the revolutionaries. Does that mean Ruan is in trouble or did he up his own votes by suggesting his reign was under threat?

Ah! I was going to but chickened out when I saw people going flying.
Saw the Stig doing it, helmet and all. Made me giggle that.

Loved the buzz about college today though some candidates made their true colours be known. Not naming any names but one candidate came up to us, pissed out of their head, at about 4pm and did not leave a good impression.

A friend was on the polling station in the library which had about 1,140 turn out at that one.
I voted in the SU and those boxes were pretty full.

apparently 2200 had already voted by 4 ish

anyone else see paddy rocketts campaigner running across the living bridge acting like superman round 4, big banner of a women in swimwear on a rocket, got to admit he was imaginative.
i was watching maguire today for the jump, actually landed in pitch one, sickener:( daredevil pilot tho:D

Gotta say that I wasnt impressed by Paddy's agressive campaign, it was too in my face.

So Ruan got my vote. He came walking door-to-door in College Court last night to speak to students, and that personal aspect is why he got my No.1.

Also, Derek of luck lad, sorry I couldnt help on the campaign!

Congrats to those who were elected (or re-elected). I'll be honest, I'll be happy not to be handed any more pamphlets!

What do people do with the campaign materials now? The McDuffie t-shirts are still pretty cool, but will people keep the posters in their rooms or what?!
