That agreement we have to sign and send back to Brolly, can I just send it like normal with just a stamp, as if I was just posting to somewhere else in England? Or do I have to do something different because I'm sending it to Ireland?

It will be about 50p I think. If you prefer, I can give you a UK address (Northern Ireland). PM me if you want it instead.

So apparently, Unite have to announce by Monday if they are going on strike as their mandate for action expires then, and they have to give 7 days notice. Unless BA allows them to extend their mandate for action.

For those of you booked on BA, is anyone going to bite the bullet and book another flight, seeing by Monday it will be less than 2 weeks until WM?

I'm just gonna wait for a decision

Just waiting and hoping for the best too. I'm hoping BA allows that dealing to be extended, get the feeling neither party want these strikes to go ahead. Ideally BA will extend the strike deadline past Mania and keep negotiating until then.

Anyone seen this WrestleMania Kick Off Party? I can't get the link to work but it's in the main news on WWE.com. Some info here too...

Unforuntatly my (all being well) flight only gets in at 7pm Friday... I might go check out last hour or so once I get to the hotel if I ain't too tired. Looks like fun.

Gutted I doubt it'll be watching SD but will probably go down for the beginning for half an hour to something. I have ROH beginning at 7 well show doesn't start till 8 but meet and greet so depends how good this is... wouldn't mind meeting some of the ROH stars though.

Looks like fun, which there was a tad more info though! Watching SD on a big screen sounds fun!!

Oops sorry dopey mistake by me. Shame would have been good if they had it Mania weekend.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 249 ✭✭Avian

urgh, well clearly I didn't read it right either! lol. Seems a bit silly to be holding this a week before, I mean its possible its a mistake but I doubt it...seems strange to me.

But in other ways makes sense since WWE are running axxess the friday night, would seem counter-productive to be pulling PAYING people away from Axxess. I guess ROH only for me then and maybe at stop at Baby's Steak and Lemonade :D. Anyone going to ROH? on the fri. We could all meet for a pre dinner ROH!

I'm going to ROH, and I can't wait! They usually put up
the best shows on Wrestlemania weekend, last year's shows were way better than WM itself. And I can't wait to meet The Briscoes, Roderick Strong, Necro, Davey Richards, Kevin Steen, Hero, Erick Stevens... Damn I wanna meet all of them! :)

Yeah meeting Davey is a big one to me! I can see alot of potential! I dunno why but he reminds me of Dynamite Kid, esp with the way he is built. Crazy ass drives will be awesome live!! haha!

btw, are there any seating plans for ROH?

i hate to badmouth iww as i have friends still working there but i thought everyone knew that story

long story short, iww were in tallaght night before (i was there along with about 1000 others), show was going ok till they had an interval (which lasted about 2hrs :() upon which most people left, i didn't and looking back i wish i did

next night they were scheduled in cork, show at 8pm or something, couple of boardies starting posting on here about 7.45pm saying all the talent (now this included guys like nigel mcguinness, raven, balls mahoney, davari and other american stars) were there but there was no ring, anyways come 8.30-9pm the show was cancelled (the van carrying the ring was stuck in kildare or somewhere), parents and fans as you can expect were pissed, raven got the most abuse apparently and balls ending up telling old ewc stories to calm down the annoyed fans

IWWs stock went into freefall after that night

haha thats pretty funny! Reminds me of a story I heard when I was training at MPW about Jake Roberts getting a ring stolen off him!

Apparently the story goes the show finishes and someone offered to shift the ring at a reduced price...lol! so...yeah subsequently the ring was never seen again :P

    Hey,
For anyone with ringside seats, pray customs don't cut your chair on the way home, as they did with one of our Rumble chairs!

Only noticed it when we got home, it's only small but still annoying.

Also, am I the only one that enjoyed Kid Rock and was pee'd off when I heard he was cut from the DVD?!

I enjoyed the pyro. I was pissed off that got cut out! That was a huge chunk of the night's pyro!
