looking to edit a clip from RTE player

just wondering is it possible to download a programme from RTE player and then edit a part of it on a laptop. i have tried downloading the programme but it wont let me

try snagit. Someone on here said it works to download things from there

The other easy way would be to try with something like Frapps and just grab the video that way, I suppose.

Something like Snaggit or Downthemall would be a lot easier though
