Ah, I'm having my first veganism arguement - and it's happening via a text! :D Surprised and happy that it's taken over a year to happen. Apparently, the type of food I eat isn't good for me. Why, oh why didn't I take the time to properly research the effets of a vegan diet.. oh wait, I did!

What pray tell is the diet of the helpful questioner like?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 137 ✭✭StevoTG

It would involve two-three meat meals a day, seven days a week, with many of those meals coming from a microwave or a take-away venue! The fact that I haven't had a migraine headache since going vegan, am in better shape than ever before and haven't really been sick in over a year doesn't seem to count for much. The person in question is my father. He never misses a chance to get a dig in, but it doesn't bother me. Last night I just felt like giving a bit back his way to see how he'd take it.. laughing off facts would seem to be the best way to deal with it for him.

I've got to run, a quick trip to Glaway awaits! Be back in 13 or so hours
Have a nice day folks! :)

To be fair, it is his job to worry about you.
Give him grief about his lack of nutrition....that is your job! :D
You'll both be better off in the end.
Hope Galway is good to ya!

What are the rest of us up to this weekend?

Urgh, that's so irritating. I have a friend who has literally NEVER eaten a piece of fresh fruit or veg in about ten years, yet she thinks I'm "weird" for eating lentils. Or another one who constantly passes comment on the dinners I cook FROM SCRATCH while she's sitting there with her microwaved lump of mayonaise covered MSG

I'm in a good mood though! That friend of mine who was in hospital called over yesterday to pack up her room, I'm sad that she's moving home but happy she's out of hospital, and she was in great form, cracking jokes and all! And she got me a teddy and a card and lent me her jacket :) plus my presentation went very very well. What you up to for the weekend Moonbaby?

Gotta wonder wtf is going on with that picture, she seems to be using a panther as a foot rest and something needs to be done about those chandeliers they are looking a little low. :pac:

Not to mention the flashlight down her top.
