    Hey all,

I dont currently have a child, but am looking for a new car and have my eye on a Peugeot 206 CC. As I want this car to do me for a fair few years, just wondering whether a child seat can fit in the back seats of this car.

Anyone ever tried it, or knows if it works? Dont have any way of testing this when I go to view the car!

The seats in the back though, don't really fit a fully grown person, as the front seats virtually touch the back. The back seats are fine for kids, but if you have a baby, bear in mind that the only place you can fit a child seat is on the front passenger seat (so Dad would have to try to fit in the back!).

Darn it... that rules that out so. Since afaik irish regulations forbid you having a child seat in the front passenger seat.

It is allowed as long as there isn't a front passenger airbag or if it has been disabled. Not recommended though...

Even if you got the child seat to fit, there's no way you'd get all the other child paraphernalia in the boot.

This is what I thought, but I was allowing myself to dream!

I guess it will have to be a sensible car, and will get my little toy when they're all grown up!
