Hi. My mate and I are going to meet in Limerick today. I'm coming down from Galway, she's coming up from Cork. We're thinking of going for a walk in the countryside somewhere and then eat in the city.
Where is a nice place for a walk outside the city? Lets say up to a 20 mile radius.
Also, any recommendations for a place to eat?
    Thanks in advance, folks. :)

You have a number of options. You could take a spin out to the clare glens...off n7. Or maybe Curragh chase...out passed the regional hospital..or you could stay in the city...which should be quiet this morning...Sunday. Take a stroll along the shannon out by Castletroy or in town.

    Nice videos by the way.

Curragh Chase is nice for a walk, its a forest on the main road to Askeaton.
My favourite place to walk is Knock Fierna in Ballingarry. On a fine day you can see five counties from the top of the hill.
