Hi, going unregged i'm slightly embarrassed about posting this but it's been driving me crazy all day.

worried 30 year old man here. I performed unprotected oral sex on a guy for the first time ever the about two nights ago. We've known eachother for a little while but we got very tipsy and decided what the hell.
I've washed, brused, rinced my mouth like crazy but i still have the horrid taste of pre-cum in my mouth.

I've been feeling sick since, mostly an upset stomach and very low energy, could this be a sign of an sti? I hope not, i'm praying it's just a psychological thing I figured i'd go and get my self checked up in the hospital regardless but i'd like to know, do the test for different things in a man-to-man sti check that they might over look with a man-to-woman sti check?

It sounds psychosomatic to me, maybe it isn't something you really wanted to do?

I don't think I've ever heard of an STI that does this, but to be on the safe side, why don't you go to your GP.

Just and FYI, nobody on boards can give you medical advice.

Go to your GP and get it checked out to set your mind at ease or if your too embarressed to do that check here

I'd also say it sounds very much psychological - those aren't the symptoms of any STD afaik (and the symptoms wouldn't normally show up that quickly). But low energy and an upset stomach are pretty quick common results of stress. Combined with not being able to get rid of the 'taste' in your mouth, it just sounds like it's wrecking your head.

But get yourself checked out to be sure and put your mind at ease.

It just occurred to me that an upset stomach, low energy, and bad taste in the mouth are also common symptoms of a cold/flu onset - which you can easily pick up from sleeping with someone (or even if you don't sleep with them in many cases).

Folks, can we please avoid giving medical advice or trying to give a diagnosis via the internet.

OP, if you are concerned, mention it to your GP.
