I want to attend a "Skins" Party!

    They look like fun - but I'm too old (and married). Bummer! :(
    France's kids have gone mad about TV "Skins" parties apparently.

    Excerpt:
    Skins, a cult television series about a group of teenagers in Bristol, is being blamed for a French adolescent craze for debauched fancy dress evenings of drinking and drugs.
    From Marseilles to Paris, “le Skins party” is a rallying cry each weekend for thousands of teenagers, most from well-to-do families, who dress in masks and torn stockings to lose themselves in sex and drugs like the stars of their favourite programme.
    The spectacle of drunken, drugged-up teenagers cavorting in little more than their underwear has stirred unusual angst in a country that prides itself on being broad-minded.

    I know, I had me moments raving with the best in Manchester when it was born.
    Now THAT was fun. :D
    I think some of the youth today are filling in a gap for crazy madness.
    We had the "Free Love" sixties, the Rock and Roll period, The rave craziness, and now...
    Heck, I'm old - not too sure! :D

    This bit has me puzzled. Skins characters never wore masks or fancy dress. Why can't they dress normally?

    Stupid Old People are the worst kind of old people. I know, I'm one of them.

    It's funny seeing the 20 year old haircuts dancing away in Whelan's and being so "with it" and having big dramatic arguments about everything. They try so hard to be like the young wans they see on the telly.

    It's cute (and I mean that in the most patronising way possible) :D
