All gooods purchased within the EU should be ok. As far as I am aware, you will only get caught for VAT and other charges if purchasing from outside the EU.

I've just got VAT registered, and I'm sure seen somewhere on here that if I go to NI or the UK I can avoid paying there VAT by showing my VAT cert, on buying a tractor or pickup.

Do I have to pay VAT on it when I bring it into Ireland ?
