    Well that's that.
Vidic should have had a red, who knows what could have happened then.

You'd think the amount of trophies that United have one, SAF would've learned how to celebrate properly by now. :)

Great win! Although United hardly needed to kill themselves in the game

    Fair play to Dunney.

Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne on whether Vidic should have been sent off:
"They got a man sent off at Villa Park and it didn't make a difference. It's better to play against 11 men and it made it a better game. It's their day today."

Me too. Looked like he was playing injured for twenty thirty minutes as well.

    ah yes

berba was great today, actually put in some great work effort, that with the sublime touches and passes (nice flick to carrck in the 2nd half), probably the best iv seen him play.

What did Vidic do? Good game?

    Well done

Good win for United although I was shocked to see the decision of the ref for the Vidic foul... maybe the ref has been taking lessons from the SFA refs!

He's a class act on and off the pitch. Have to feel for him, poor refereeing decisions have cost him a place at a World Cup and a Carling cup medal.

I could hear it fine. He speaks quickly like most Eastern Europeans and has a habit of dropping the verb like many non-native speakers, but he made perfect sense. He argued he was between Gabby and the goal so it shouldn't have been a straight red, in his words "just a bad tackle."
