this will sound like a strange question, but what scrubs are required for student nurses on their work placement during general or general/children? its just I'm currently working as a care assistant and was wondering if i could save money by not buying 2 sets of scrubs:D (in the hope i do get my course choice!!) also, any thoughts/comments on the course itself?

Hey, from my experience of studying nursing in DCU, you do not need scrubs for placement. At the beginning of first year you will recieve 3 tunics, 2 pairs of trousers and a hoodie from DCU for your clinical placement. DCU is a great place to study and I love studying nursing there. The other students are great as are most of the lecturers!

Best of luck for the future and I'm sure you will get your course choice!

You have to wear the ones from DCU, not an option, but then again they give it to you for free in first year.
