    Hi All,
I don’t know if this is the best place for this query but I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me how much it would cost to get some bridesmaid alterations done.

I will have 3 bridesmaids and bought dresses online from ebay (dressilicious- would highly recommend)
The material and colour and shape are lovely but the dress that I’ve tried on so far is a bit too big (though not big enough to justify going a size smaller)

I think the alterations required would be to take it in a bit, both in the body and the skirt of the dress, to shorten it a little and to add some straps or a halterneck type thing. (strapless and not that supportive at the mo)

Would anyone know of anywhere in Dublin which would be good for this and how much it might cost?

    Thanks

I've used Des Byrne on Grafton Street - not for BM dresses but to alter a coast dress for a wedding. They were excellent, quick and efficient.

They let the dress out and as it was strapless, created a halter neck from part of the belt, excellent job

Thanks, Do you mind if I ask how much it cost?

I have no idea of even a ballpark figure!
