There is no cure for cancer. A cure for cancer is effectively a cure for aging. Hate to burst your bubble. I've no doubt however that treatment of cancer will improve however.

Cancer is not an automatic consequence. Cancer is a byproduct of the interaction of genes with the environment. It shows up more with aging - but that is not analogous to being aging. Various forms of cancer will be cured one by one since different cancers are different diseases.
Dublin Dart inter connector and Airport metro link.

    You'll be lucky.

    How about this:
Ireland top the medals table at 2030 Winter Olympic games after the shift in weather in 2010 leads to Ireland having more snowy winters :D:P

I predict that within 100 years, computers will be twice as powerful, ten thousand times larger, and so expensive that only the five richest kings of Europe will own them.

Will : Find life outside earth

Yes, cancer is an amalgam of mutations , 1000s of different mutations can cause cells to grow out of control in the wrong parts of our body and that's what is called cancer and is what kills us. There is no such thing as a 'cure for cancer', rather there is a cure for many different types of cancers. The best bet is to stop cancer spreading than curing it.

Malty, you're reported for confusion of the facts!

Roughly the next 50 years so in no particular order:

Contact lenses with built in displays
Prosthestics with a direct link to the the central nervous system
This will lead to direct brain computer interface allowing matrix like virtual reality
Creation of ai with mouse level intelligence
All books, newpapers and magazines will be in electronic form meaning bookshops and newsagents will be obsolete.
No more high street music shops, video shops, game shops, or electronics shops either.
Take off of the hydrogen economy with renewable sources used to separate hydrogen. Houses will have their own hydrogen fuel cell power generator.
People will be able to stay younger looking for longer.

I'm praying they find a cure for baldness in no more than 5-8 years time.

I reckon baldness will be a thing of the future eventually...I mean there is a chance we will be pretty hairless down the line in terms of evolution....for now buy a silicone free shampoo as it supposedly doesn’t help!

I think scientists will eventually fully understand genetics to a tee and there will be treatments etc based on correcting a specific gene that has 'turned off' or something...

A super-race of warlike hermaphrodite women with most men reduced to toiling in mines far below the earth, with the small remainder of amusing eunuch types cultivated as house pets.
