    WARNING: QUITE DISTURBING

    http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/cctv-footage-shows-allegedly-drunk-mum-dropping-baby-on-ground-at-palmerston-bus-station/story-e6frf7jo-1225833802944

CCTV footage has emerged which shows the moment a Northern Territory mother is alleged to have thrown her baby on to a concrete footpath.
The footage from the Palmerston bus exchange shows a woman dropping her 10-month-old baby on the ground after her partner left on a bus without her, the Northern Territory News reports.
The video then shows the woman tussling with another man over the child.
The woman - who cannot be named to protect the identity of the baby - pleaded not guilty to recklessly endangering serious harm to the child in Darwin Magistrates Court on Friday.
It is alleged she was drunk and had been arguing with her partner when she threw the baby.
In a police interview played to the court, she said she was "wild" with her partner and wanted to go home when she "dropped" the baby.

    I was in Palmerstown.

W/o being 'racist' or whatever, the aboriginals in Oz seem to be extremly down and out. Maybe put their by society etc etc but there are generations being brought up sniffing paint and petrol and drinking ****e. I have seen mothers give their under 10 year old kids a wiff of paint.

I haven't really got a point to make but they are a dangerous crowd of mofos for whatever reason. Living in Perth, if you get robbed by these boys, they dont put a knife towards you and ask for your money. They beat you into a pulp and then take the money out of your wallet.

Aboriginals in Oz were given a lot of their land back, and rightly so, but the ones who stayed behind in the ****ty areas of the cities are to be avoided.

F*ck PC, and don't judge, these are dangerous down and out bastards.

And thaf video is mild compared to things that I, or a lot of backpackers have seen

    Reminds me of Ali G:
So what if you was, say,in the kitchen, chopping carrots with a machete cos you don't have anyfin' and then the phone ring and it slip into your sock and then you is running to get a bus and it fall into someone's arm, you know, a couple of times -is that legal or illegal?

What a sorry excuse for a human being. I really hope she gets done for this and the child is taken away, though, that's probably wishful thinking.

Sick bitch will ruin it for the rest of us, we will have lunatics bringing forward crazy ideas to issue licenses for having children and the likes.

Actually, that bitch needs a swift kick to the head.

Its all very well saying that 'they' should take the baby away from her.

What are they supposed to do with it then??

Actually... I think you're on to something there.

I mean sweet jebus there are a lot of people out there that just should not be allowed to breed..

A cert that you have passed some basic training wouldn't be a bad idea..
"Milk goes in the fridge, or failing that a cool wet sack"
"It isn't right to get a toddlers bellybutton pierced"
"Jacinta is not as classy a name as you may think it is"
"The government won't necessary pay you more for this, so how about you get a job instead"

    Just the basics..

    So "hopped off" means dropped/fell?

This has confused me since the "Pedestrian hopped on Icy footpath - RTE news" thread.

I know it makes me a bad person, but that's f.ucking hillarious!!

Obviously an unfit mother. They should take the child from her and stick it in a missionary so it can learn our ways or something.

And the aussies say were rude and obnoxious? you dont see us walking around chucking babies around the palce

Didn't they actually ban aborigines from drinking in the northern territory, about 18 months ago i think? Something about their bodies not processing alcohol like ours do. I'm sure everybody is aware that alcohol makes all westerners happy little bunnies and no harm has ever become of it and never will, but the abos are different apparently!

I seriously doubt it. And even if they did it would be too hard to enforce. Some of them are white. And what's to stop them from drinking anyway?

No joking, i think they did, or tried to at least - it does seem fairly unenforceable. I'll try find a link later, have to work now goddamit! I definitely read it in the paper, i think it was something to do with a string of child abuse cases.

A course in parenting would probably be more useful long-term than a quick primer in imbecilic middle-class prejudices?

When will people realise that you dont take the phrase bouncing baby boy literally.

    Banning porn too

This is probably the only decent measure they can do for them rather than anything else, although that should be a country wide measure, not just the aborigines.
There will be restrictions on the payment of government welfare benefits so that alcohol cannot be bought with them

Agree totally with this. Plus after I read the article I was already 99% sure it was going to be an Aboriginal on the video when I clicked play. Many of them seem to have behaviour patterns that verge on inhuman.
