Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Stradbrook Road/Monkstown Road roundabout improvements

    Anyone know if it's possible to find out how much the county council would have spent on upgrading this roundabout (http://tinyurl.com/yjhyfp7 for map)?

    They've done a great job ruining that roundabout IMO

    Just write in and ask them, as a Freedom of Information request.
    Or have a councillor ask, possibly saving the fee.

    Good idea, thanks for the tip - was just going to contact DLRCOCO but I reckon your suggestion is better.

    I was looking at potholes created as a result of the recent bad weather on the RTE news last night and wondered how much money had been wasted on that roundabout.

    There's more traffic on it than ever due to Monkstown Ring Road and DLRCOCO have made the roundabout narrower than it was before. Since it was rebuilt they've had to add chicane onto the Abbey Road exit - likely because of the dangerous revised layout.

    The roads onto the roundabout are now regularly backed up - incredible.

    I've not seen the new layout, but the old layout was, well, a bit odd to say the least. It never actually felt much like a roundabout at all coming from certain directions.
