I was thinking of buying a new Pioneer HU and thought I'd have a look at the prices. I can't seem to find a dealer that has the 8100bt in stock, most of them are listing it as not available. Pixmania and some other sites aren't listing it at all.
Has this HU been withdrawn or is it just that those dealers aren't stocking it?

It's a 2009 model so I would reckon pioneers 2010 range is due soon hence the lack of it.

If you cant find it local its online here - http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/11273.html

There good to deal with I've bought a fair amount of stock over the years with them and never had any problems.

If you buy the HU online, is it hard to fit it yourself?
I'm a bit nervous of dismantling my dash to begin with let alone try to fit expensive electronics at the same time.
Is there a place to find a reliable fitter?
If I could get the HU cheap I might change the speakers too so getting an experienced fitter would be a good thing.
