What Should We Do With Our Stupid People?

Here we are, in the midst of a recession and our nation appears to be filled with stupid people who are educated by MTV, TV3, Tabloids and Gerry Ryan. I ask, what should we do with our stupid people? All they're doing is filling up jobs or sapping away the States resources, thus fueling their own stupidity.

I'm not talking about dim people or anything. Just people who are, and never will be, any use to anyone else but themselves. A little pre-post story here:

I walk into the living room, laptop in hand to check my Email. Sister is watching Gok Wang or whatever his name is strutting fat people around. I just roll my eyes, say nothing.

An ad break.

She changes channels to MTV - The Hills is on. Christ. My sister makes some remark about one of the characters. I reply "yeah, too bad it's all fake".

She was shocked, outraged. "No it's not" she retorted. We argued, me being half flabbergasted and speechless having believed that everyone just kinda knew it was fake.

When I began presenting indisputable evidence it actually seemed a bit of her died. Clutch at straws she did, but to no avail. A few Internet searches and she was crushed.

I was dismayed.

People, my sister included, who worship Gok Wan, The Hills and whatever 'rent a gob' TV presenter or glossy mag need to be slowly rounded and 'shooed way'. It's for the good of the nation...

I find it;s mostly women who fall in behind all of this glitz and glam muck. From the age of around 12-55 they all seem to be hooked on The Hills, XFACTOR, Big Brother, I'm a Celebrity etc.... But I'm sure there are men too.

I'm seriously pissed that THIS is what society has been reduced to. Never going to be any use to anyone.... :mad:

hold on to them, who else are we going to laugh at

but i would make them carry out an IQ test before applying for or buying anything, could save alot of time and hassle later

Laughing at them is funny, right until one of them pipes up "wah r u lafen at??"... you'd think they'd guess. But nope.

What is funny though is to ask them why they like all that stuff. You can almost see the cogs turning, wires short-circuiting and empty filing cabinets in their brains being torn through as they desparatly try to fathom an answer.:o

99.9% of the time you get "'Cos I do!"

OP, if you're not guilty of any of the sins you stated above then why are you posting on AH? Shouldn't this be in the Philosophy forum? This thread is now in the running for both 'Most Illogical Thread' and 'Most Self-Important OP'. Get down from there before you hurt yourself.

So maybe I am guilty a little... I think everyone has leafed through a mag or a tabloid whilst in a waiting room and took interest in how somebody comically pissed themselves at the grammies or whatever ... But then we put the "newspaper" down and get over it.

It's sad and pathetic when half the women in the country have so little going on that they feel the need to read 85% lies about other people. The worst thing is that "journalists" who write this crap soil their industry and feel Jordan's new tits is of more importance than Irish troops being hailed as heros for quelling civil unrest in Kosovo and saving lives or natural disasters.

He was shocked, outraged. "No it's not" he retorted. We argued, me being half flabbergasted and speechless having believed that everyone just kinda knew it was fake.

When I began presenting indisputable evidence it actually seemed a bit of him died. Clutch at straws he did, but to no avail. A few Internet searches and he was crushed.

I was dismayed.

I can see where you're coming from,the intellectually and culturally challenged are breath takingly dull but I can't relate to you being upset that they'll never be of any use to anyone. If someone wants to live a different lifestyle to me I don't care. It's none of my business. I'm not bothered if they contribute to society or not.

All across the country stupid people are being herded onto trains and shipped off to the camps.

We're already doing exactly what we should be doing with them. Keep them at the bottom distracted by their McJobs, concerned only with the basic human bodily requirements, as well as relationships, potential relationships and what time their favourite tv show is on.

It's a perfect arrangement.
