UPC box won't turn on

    Hello,

    The UPC box won't turn on.

    It is is in stand by and recording, but I can't turn it on with either the remote or the ON button on the machine.

    Can anybody help? I'd rather not have to unplug.

    If you are recording two channels at once it will not switch on until one of the recordings is finished.

    Only one channel is recording, but if that were so a screen would appear saying so and giving the option to proceed by pressing OK.

    This is something else.
