I'm based in Sligo but go to Dublin most weekends. As for the paint job its my handy work and is a one off, if anyone is interested in the rifle they should not worry about skirmishing with it, the paint is very hard wearing with a solid base coat (x-2) and the rifle was also given 3 coats of clear mat varnish to further protect it after paint.
Just one word of advice to anyone playing with it, don't walk away and leave it sitting in woodland it will be a bitch to find again LOLz

Doobie mate I've just had my brother on the phone and he said he has an m14 for me to take a look at in Dublin this weekend but if it is not up to scratch I'll let you know thanks for the offer.

Sorry for leaving you hanging mate. The bro came up trumps for me with a really good M14 and after a bit of negotiation I went with it, sorry if I wasted your time and the best of luck looking of another one, I just checked and there seems to be another one or two L96 rifles posted for sale.
