Garmin gone nuts

    My 205 just stopped working on last nights run. It was fully charged.
    I was able to power it on by pressing the mode and lap buttons but now it does not respond to button presses (other than mode + lap which just resets it)

    I let it run out of battery power then charged it again but still the same.
    I also reinstalled the firmware using webupdater but no change. I was able to download last nights info from it so I know the actual unit is working ok.

    Anybody come across this before or will I just have to splash out on a new 405?

    Try pressing the Power Enter and Reset buttons all at the same time. That should force a full reset. Other than that...dunno.

    Afraid not. But if you press mode + power it asks you if you want to do a hard reset and erase all user data. I cant select yes as there is no response from the other buttons.
