    Maybe they're "new" Irish ;)

They are not the new or old anything. Just the israeli's behaving in a civilised manner as usual.

Looks like the govt have confirmed that these passports were indeed forged Irish passports

    http://www.rte.ie/news/2010/0216/dubai.html

Police in Dubai say three of the chief suspects in the killing of a senior Hamas official were travelling on Irish passports.

However, the Department of Foreign Affairs said it has no record of Irish passports having been issued with details corresponding to those published today in a number of United Arab Emirates newspapers.

'We are in ongoing contact with the UAE authorities to try to ascertain the exact facts of the case. To date, we have received no evidence that any Irish nationals were involved.'

So . . .. Israeli murderers travelling under the cover of faked Irish passports.

Anyone any thoughts on whether america would veto (if it comes to that) a un-resolution in condemning of this ?

    I'd be interested to know if the israeli's faked the Irish passports or just decided to use jews with genuine Irish passports in order to carry out this murder. Either way it makes it more dangerous for Irish people travelling in the middle east. Not that this seems to be a big concern for them ;

Na it's a woman with a bad 'Oirish' wig. Diff hair colour in the video footage. Looks a lot more israeli in the hotel clips.

I would certainly hope there is some form of condemnation anyway.
I find it fairly despicable that Israel can sanction a murder in an Islamic country and then not care that it's splashed around the worlds media that 3 Irishmen were invovled.

When there's any sort of proof they were Isrealis let's get back to them, shall we? For all we know they could be ex-Soviet Bloc arms dealers.

Must say I'm shocked at the number of people accepting that state sponsored terrorism is OK. It's pre-meditated murder..

Therein lies the difference. The aim of terrorism is to inspire fear and terror. This was a murder.

They were not Irish people. The dept of foreign affairs has said that they were not legitimate passports - the numbers were in an incorrect format.

You have to hand it to the israelis - they send 11 people (+6 additional ones that the Dubai authorities are looking for) not to mention the intelligence personnel involved in gathering the information from the palestinian informants, so thats probably ballpark of 20 people to kill one unarmed old man and they manage to fúck it up so badly their faces have gone around the world a few times over !! Not quite so formidable looking anymore if you ask me. You'd have to wonder if they were planning on making it look like natural causes ? That might explain why they were so comprehensively captured on film at every step - maybe they thought they would not need to cover their tracks after the fact.

I fully expect the US to veto any UN resolution concerning this.

I do agree with your earlier sentiment of kicking out the Israel ambassador, if proof is found that Mossad made fake Irish passports.

if you zoom in on that you can see the Irish harp on several of the passport photos (5,8 & 9).

two of them might pass as Irish other than that they look german and like Israeli.

I have to say, you probably have to be non-Irish to see the delicious irony in Irish people bashing on their keyboards with moral outrage at an assassination, given your bloody history.

But of course we all know what this is about. Israel as usual being held to a higher standard than any other country because they're Jews and Jews shouldn't fight. Jews should walk calmly and quietly into 'showers' and gain respect that way, not by fighting.

The moral outrage by the British left wing also has me in stitches, given the activities of the SAS and 14 company during the 'troubles' and now the daily assassinations of Al Qaeda leaders in Pakistan's border.

Let's surround your insignificant island with 22 hostile countries who spend every waking moment thinking up ways to kill your citizens, then we'll see how 'civilised' you are. Given your past, I suspect not very civilised at all.

Most of us have a problem with people faking our passports, when they engage in there terrorism.

Utter nonsensical tripe. If anybody did the same thing, use Irish passports in the midst of a terrorist operation, people would be annoyed about it.

Yes, they can be hypocritical, but really no worse than the Israel's politicans.

More nonsense. Israel has peace deals with both Jordan and Egypt and Lebanon is in no position to actually destroy Israel and even then its only Hizbollah who have issues with Israel in Lebanon, and that due to the occupation of the Shebe farms. The Arab league has offered full peace and recognition to Israel, if they obey international law and give the Palestinians a state based on the 67 borders.

Don't try you nonsense here. Anyone with a passing knowledge can pull you comments apart very quickly.

Also, I don't know if this has been posted already but here is a video of all 11's movements during their stay in the UAE.
It's really incredible to watch. Especially when they come out of his Room post-execution and act so casually waiting for the lift to make their escape.
    Jason Bourne type stuff.

Totally agree with you that woman is no way Irish.Just because red hair

This is new, isn't it? up until the evil Jews, every secret service member or assassination squad would use their own passport and library card.

The Irish terrorists weren't like those evil Jews. The Irish terrorists always used genuine papers from Ireland because they were just a great bunch of lads in that way. Just caring and the like.

Yes, they can be hypocritical, but really no worse than the Israel's politicans.
Ooohh what's this? an equivalence? that's not like you and your ilk to treat Israel on par with others. Stick to the crib sheet son, Israel is WORSE, always WORSE than other countries who commit the same acts. Remember that when NATO kills civilians, it's unfortunate. When Israel kicks the shin of an Arab, it's a WAR CRIME. When NATO bombed schools and hospitals in Kosovo killing scores of civilians, it was 'errant missiles'. When Israel bombed a school, it was a WAR CRIME and completely intentional of course.

More nonsense. Israel has peace deals with both Jordan and Egypt
Has that stopped Egyptians and Jordanians being involved in attacks against Israel? I'll answer that for you - no.
Lebanon is in no position to actually destroy Israel
Ohh, so Israel should only really be worried about destruction eh? not the daily attempts to kill its citizens then.

Don't try you nonsense here. Anyone with a passing knowledge can pull you comments apart very quickly.
    Well, you failed.

i know what you mean BUT any jew in the world is considered an israeli national if they want to be and can join the israeli military and mossad thats part of why mossad are so effective because they can recruit from the entire jewish population around the world

also i have no problem with countries using any and all means to kill terrorists when other countries decide to protect them

its just like what was being discussed in the other thread 'attacked on my doorstep' accept amplified to a level that actually matters. 'ah sure maybe if we just ignore them and take the hit a few times they will go away' **** THAT i would love to see an economist or statistician examine the potential number of israeli lives saved because of their policy of overwhelming and unrelenting force when they are attacked

**YAWN**. No one claimed Israel was worse than anyone else. Also, how can you possible know my or anyone else opinion on NATO from this thread, seeing as the only person who mentioned NATO is yourself.

    Honestly, cut out the hysteria.

I don't remember either country launching a war against Israel since the peace deals. In fact Egypt is currently complicit in the siege of Gaza. So you really have to do a lot better, seeing as I have shown that you statement of 22 countries out to destroy Israel (vis a vi if Ireland was in that situation) was so much nonsense.
