Australia race politician Pauline Hanson moving to UK

Australian former anti-immigration politician Pauline Hanson is selling up and heading to Britain, according to an interview with an Australian magazine. She told Women's Day that Australia was no longer a land of opportunity and she had "had enough" of living there.
Ms Hanson built a career on claims that Australia was being "swamped by Asians"

and she's going to the UK, talk about out of the fire and into the frying pan!

Ironic how, after years of anti-immigration views, she becomes an immigrant herself.

Oh I think you'll find she considers herself completely different.

    Mostly because she's white.

The Australian government; a weak hybrid of US puritan values and China's control issues.

She's right about the number of immigrants in Australia tho. In the major cities you can't throw a stick without hitting an Aboriginal.

    (fortunately the stick comes back.)

Well, we're all immigrants to some extent. I'm just wondering which of the cities he's referring to that has these Aboriginals. I think I've seen about 5 in 8 months.

nobody will know who she is in England.

Besides, shes planning on moving to the countryside, not the city, and living off her dodgy cash!

Pauline Hanson set the course of Racial Politics back about twenty years, by giving the Liberals a target they could vilify, She was a bit thick and easily manipulated, but she Stood for what she believed in. and ya cant do that nowadays, she spoke her mind often without fully knowing it, and she Was Crucified for it, there was a relentless campaign against her with some of the most baseless lies ever printed about an individual, they imprisoned her on a charge that was Clearly Bollox at the time, and did their damndest to drive her out of Politics.

She was a bit of an idiot, she was manipulated by the 2Daves, She didnt deserve all the flak she got, she raised the legitimate concerns of her voters regarding the Race issue, its jut that the mainstream parties here would rather bury their head in the sand and pretend that Theres not a Problem and when someone does raise a valid point its easier to attack them than to make the uncomfortable realisation that They have a point.

Didn't know that much about her, but you make a good point. It's the same as with the BNP here. Most people know who they are and what they stand for. But there is far too much focus on the BNP themselves instead of looking at the why they are increasing their voter count at every election. Ignore them at your peril.

It really is hard to beat a good Picard facepalm.

I think I remember her when I lived in Australia. From what I remember, the Aussie's are even embarrased by her.
